Enclosure in Anglesborough is a tree-covered ringfort in wet pasture beside the River Aherlow, marked by a bank, scarp and fosse that still shape the ground near the Ballyduff boundary. Cattle may walk around its hidden rim today, unaware that people shaped the circle centuries before maps drew it. The D-shaped area nearby suggests a smaller dwelling or yard attached to the main place, perhaps belonging to the same household. Water, grass and time have softened the work of human hands, but they have not erased the choice made when the bank was first raised.

In wet pasture on the E bank of the River Aherlow that marks the townland boundary with Ballyduff. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area defined by a scarp. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly oval-shaped area (dims. c. 53m NW-SE; 44m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank from W-N reduced to a scarp elsewhere with external fosse from N- E. A D-Shaped area (dims. 30m E-W; 23m N-S) lies to immediate NW. Identified as a possible ringfort on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (Strip map 2, site 2/10) taken 03/11/1984.
