What is recorded here

Lismore is a circular rath thirty-five metres across on a NE-facing Galway slope, its earth bank and outer ditch still visible from east to south-southeast while a natural scarp completes the rest of the circle. It is the kind of place where an ordinary field keeps a old shape, as if someone cut a room into the land and the grass forgot to erase it.

On a NE-facing slope in rolling grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 35m) defined by a bank and external fosse from E to SSE; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element.
