An Droim Thiar is a ringfort on the SW slopes of Drom Hill in County Kerry, Ireland. Its earth bank still stands about one metre high outside and twenty metres across inside, though thick growth now swallows most of it. A field wall replaces a short western stretch where the old bank was taken away. The fort has survived centuries of weather, farming and forgetting, keeping its shape hidden beneath living green.

Internal diam. c. 20.5m This densely overgrown rath is situated about 150m SSW of KE035-029---- on the SW slopes of Drom Hill. The vegetation is for the most part impenetrable but, where visible, the enclosing bank is .8m high internally and 1m high externally. A short stretch of the bank at W has been removed and this sector is now bounded by a N-S running field wall. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
