What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cavan, a raised circular area twenty-seven metres across, enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and vague traces of a fosse. The bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary, while a modern roadway and drainage trench skirt its western edge. A break at the east may mark the original entrance, leaving the fort half-swallowed by ordinary use yet still shaped like a place set apart for something else.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 27.2m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and vague traces of a fosse identifiable only from NW-N-E. Bank appears to have been modified and has been incorporated into the field boundary. From WSW-WNW the site is skirted by a modern roadway and drainage trench.
