Excavation is an excavation (miscellaneous) in Abbeyside, County Waterford, Ireland. Testing northwest of the Augustinian priory recorded extensive medieval remains across three fields, including hearths, ditches and pits associated with medieval pottery. Near McGrath's castle the ditches become particularly numerous and may form an enclosure southwest of the tower house, although no dating material was recovered.

Archaeological testing (02E1727) in an extensive area NW of the Augustinian priory (WA031-040005-) in Abbeyside has recorded extensive medieval remains in three fields. This comprises hearths, ditches and pits associated with medieval pottery. Close to the tower house (WA031-040006-) known as McGrath's castle the ditches are particuarly numerous and may form an enclousure SW of the castle, although no dating material was recoverd.
