Outlined is a rectangular graveyard on the south side of Main Street in Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, holding graves from the 1820s onward beside houses and a stone wall. Its oldest visible marker is a neo-classical limestone chest tomb from the 1830s, set just inside the gate, while sycamores smother two chest tombs near the centre. The church or abbey that once stood there has vanished without a surface trace, leaving only the dead and the town’s continuing life above them.

In Abbeyfeale town, on S side of Main Street. Rectangular graveyard (c. 50m E-W; c. 30m N-S) bounded to S by houses. and elsewhere by stone wall; entrance near W end of S side. Just inside gate is neo-classical limestone chest tomb dated to 1830s; there are five further chest tombs along E wall and two near centre overgrown by sycamores. Otherwise filled with 19th and 20th century grave plots, the earliest headstones noted dating to 1820s. No visible surface trace of church/abbey which formerly stood here (LI042-012001-).
