What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined church and graveyard inside a large circular earthen bank on a slight rise near a Galway stream. The bank has weakened until the enclosure feels less like a made place and like a memory the land has almost forgotten. The church remains at its centre, small against the wide fading circle, as if prayer once stretched outward until it touched the horizon.

On a slight rise in former demesne lane, 80m W of a stream. A large poorly preserved circular enclosure (D 162m) defined by a degraded earthen bank. Within the interior are the remains of a church (GA058-002----) surrounded by a rectangular graveyard.
