No warning, no mercy: three car bombs split Dublin on 17th May 1974, killing eleven people, including two baby sisters and their parents. The stone stands where the first explosion opened that brutal afternoon, preserving the shock and loss without softening them.
IN REMEMBRANCE THIS STONE MARKS THE SITE WHERE THE FIRST OF THE THREE NO-WARNING CAR BOMB EXPLOSIONS OCCURRED ON 17TH MAY 1974 IN WHICH 11 PEOPLE, INCLUDING 2 BABY SISTERS AND THEIR PARENTS, LOST THEIR LIVES.
