Single-arch road bridge spanning Rathruane River, built c.1820. Recent renovations. Coursed rubble limestone construction with segmental arch and cut block voussoirs. String course, parapet, upright copings and square piers.
This structure is an excellent example of the high level of craftsmanship employed in the construction of rural bridges during the nineteenth century. It stands as testament to the early efforts to improve road links in this area.
