What is recorded here
RATH is an unlocated early Christian site in Crossreagh West or Glebe, County Derry. Its exact position has been lost, but the name still points to a place where people lived, worshipped or remembered before the landscape changed. Perhaps a field, ditch or boundary marker once gave the area its identity. The forgotten location does not remove the fact that the place existed and mattered to the people who first named it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
