What is recorded here

Moodoge holds a rath, an earthen ring built by human hands during the later medieval period. It is no longer a living home, but the shape remains: a circle of soil and memory on the County Armagh landscape. The official record preserves only that much, yet the place still belongs to people because it can be seen, walked around and imagined.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
