What is recorded here
Kilnaloo holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still traces the shape of hands that stopped being children long before written history began. The land remembers the building more clearly than people remember the builders. That difference is not a gap. It is the shape of the agreement: human life is short enough to require patience, and patience is the discipline that turns repetition into vision.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
