RATH in Kilfullert

RATH

What is recorded here

Kilfullert holds a rath, an earthen ring where human hands shaped the land before written memory. The official record preserves the name and point, but it does not explain whose children played inside, whose carts worn the approach, or whose loss emptied the field. That much is gone. What remains is a boundary the earth still draws, waiting for a person alive enough to notice it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
