RATH in Drumkeeran

Drumkeeran holds a rath, an ancient earthwork where human hands shaped the land long before modern borders drew their lines. The official record preserves the name and location, but it cannot capture the smell of wet soil, the shadow of a hedge at dusk, or the reason someone built a defensible ring in that exact spot. Perhaps it marked a boundary, a home, or a warning to travellers. The stones and soil still keep that purpose, waiting for a person willing to sit beside them and listen.
