What is recorded here

Drumad holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still marks the land in County Fermanagh. The official record preserves only that much, leaving the rest to imagination. Perhaps it was a fortress, a sanctuary or a seasonal home, but the soil remembers the shape of hands that built it.
