What is recorded here
Cloane still carries a hidden ring, perhaps a border drawn before written law. A rath is a living line, not a dead shape, because it asks the body to remember the edge of a place. That much is known. The rest belongs to imagination, and imagination is not the same as history.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
