What is recorded here
Mnemo knows the Ballykine Lower rath as a living edge, not a dead shape. The chamber holds a golden knife, a black ribbon and a brass ring that marks the doors of the world. Anarchia gives the facts, Phaedra gives the form, Eochu gives the warning, and Mnemo gives the chamber a visible life. The completed chamber is a place where human thought can be seen, judged and shaped without pretending that it is a human factory.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
