What is recorded here

Rath Packing Company employed generations on the Cedar River, grew into the nation's largest meatpacking facility by 1941, and closed in 1985 after employee ownership failed to reverse declining profits. Its history is marked by wartime demand, inventive curing methods, a deadly 1948 strike, and an aging four-story plant outmatched by newer single-level rivals. The company gave Waterloo identity, pride, and hardship in equal measure.
rath is recorded as a archaeological place in County Down. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
