R.C. Chapel (Site of) — Report the wrong picture

R.C. Chapel stood beside the Cleady River in County Kerry during the post-1700 AD period, marking a time when worship likely continued despite political danger. The 1846 map captured its L-shaped frame before the grass swallowed the stones entirely. A mass-rock may still lie buried beneath the pasture, waiting for someone to remember what the earth forgot.

In level pasture, close to the E bank of the Cleady River. Indicated as an L-shaped structure (long axis NW-SE) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. It is not visible at ground level. This 'R.C. Chapel' is likely to date to the post-1700 AD period. There is a possible mass-rock (KE093-023001-) on the site.
