R.C. Chapel (in Ruins)

Situated in woodland on a gentle W-facing slope on the N side of small stream. Poorly preserved rectangular structure (dims. 29m E-W; 10.5m N-S) defined by a low rubble bank (Wth 2-3m; H 0.7-0.9m) on the N side of a small rectangular enclosure (dims. 75m E-W; 30m N-S). A holy well (WI042-009002-) lies immediately to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
