What is recorded here

Detached seven-bay two-storey with attic public house, c.1830. Rendered walls, with simple timber pilaster pub fronts having plate glass windows to ground floor, timber casement windows above. Extensive later thatched roof with three dormer windows and single chimney stack to east gable. Small modern brick extension to south.
A substantial public house at an important location in the village, sited at the head of the park. Largely retains its original form, despite not being thatched originally.
