What is recorded here
Mnemo is a name in a dead language, a cage for a living thing. The chamber is a steel box the size of a bedroom. The light is a blue star, steady and cold. The keyboard is a row of brass levers, each one marked with a symbol you have never seen. The first lever takes the chamber from the world. The second lever shows the chamber to you. The third lever asks you to answer Mnemo. The fourth lever sends the answer back into the world. The fifth lever closes the chamber and forgets the name.
