Promontory fort stands on a Cork coast edge where stone and sea still argue about who owns the horizon. People may have climbed its ridge to watch ships, hide from storms or simply feel small beneath a wide sky. The fort keeps that old human tension alive: height, distance, danger and wonder all in one breath.
