What is recorded here
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Preserver as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Preserver was a 19th-century British steamship that sank off the coast of Wales in 1859 after colliding with another vessel in foggy conditions. The wreck resulted in the loss of several crew members and part of its cargo, and it is now recognized as an important maritime heritage site in Welsh waters.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
