Pouldoody South Rising is a cave rising at Dooneen in County Clare. It joins the hidden water below to the open land above. The south-facing slope may have given the rising its name, or the name may have preserved a forgotten local distinction. Dooneen still stands beside the place where underground water returns to daylight.
