What is recorded here
Poulbruíon is a recorded cave place in County Clare, Ireland. It appears beside Pluais Gabhar and Pollapooka II in a January 2025 caving account where rain had widened a stream beneath a skylight and washed a limestone floor channel clean through leaf cover. The writer walked past it with a ladder, heard an aircraft circle overhead after frantic waving, and later used the area to separate two nearby sinks whose names may have switched on older maps.
The Irish Caves Database records Poulbruíon at Faunarooska in County Clare. This point comes from its public cave register. A cave map point does not by itself grant access: check local conditions and ask the landowner where needed.
