What is recorded here

Porth yr Hwch on Ynys Môn (Isle of Anglesey) features coastal rocks primarily composed of Silurian greywacke and mudstone, formed around 440–420 million years ago during sedimentary deposition in an ancient marine environment. The area is notable for its well-exposed cliffs that provide insight into the geological history of the Welsh Caledonides.
