What is recorded here

Porth Cynfor on Ynys Môn (Isle of Anglesey) features coastal rocks primarily composed of Silurian greywacke and slate, formed around 440–420 million years ago through deep-sea sedimentation and subsequent mountain-building processes. The cliffs are notable for their exposure of ancient volcanic and sedimentary rocks, part of the broader Caledonide mountain belt, and contribute to the island’s rich geological heritage.
