Porth Ceiriad is a small bay on the north coast of Gwynedd, Wales, characterized by sea cliffs composed of Silurian greywacke and mudstone, formed around 440–420 million years ago. These rocks are part of the Môn Syncline and were shaped by tectonic activity and subsequent coastal erosion, making the site notable for its geological structure and coastal dynamics.
