What is recorded here

Port na h-Atha is a coastal rock feature located within the geological region of the Moine Thrust Zone, composed primarily of metamorphic rocks such as schist and gneiss, formed during the Caledonian orogeny around 400–500 million years ago. It is notable for its exposure of ancient, deformed rock layers that provide insight into the tectonic history of the Scottish Highlands.
