Drumenagh holds a platform rath, an elevated earthwork where human hands shaped the land before written memory. The distinction between a simple mound and a deliberate platform matters because intention turns soil into architecture. That much is clear. Whether the site served defense, display or ritual remains uncertain, but the shape still points to people who believed the land could be improved.
