What is recorded here
This site was located c. 30m E of platform (RO024-039----) and c. 16m S of platform (RO024-043----). The platform (L 2.2m; Wth 2.15m; T 0.2m) was orientated E-W and was composed of poorly preserved regularly laid roundwood and brushwood longitudinals. The elements were generally densely laid 0.02 to 0.14m apart but one longitudinal was located 0.60m to the N of the other elements. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.07 to 0.10m and from 0.02 to 0.045m in diameter, respectively. The underlying peat was composed of well humified Sphagnum-rich peat with occasional Eriophorum and Calluna inclusions.
