What is recorded here
This site was located approximately 7m SW of a section of (RO024-024----) and c. 14m NNW of platform (RO024-034----). The platform (Wth 2.9m; D 0.1m) was visible in a drain face, 0.42m below the field surface. It was orientated E-W and was composed of moderately preserved longitudinally laid brushwood. The elements were laid 0.05 to 0.09m apart and ranged from 0.01 to 0.05m in diameter. The underlying peat was composed of poorly humified Sphagnum-rich peat with frequent Eriophorum inclusions.
