Located in an undulating landscape. A vase urn and a small amount from the cremated remains of a young adult were found in a pit during house building in 1984. It produced a calibrated C14 date of 2922-1641 BC. (Cahill 2011) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
