Pile of stones is a cairn, boundary cairn in Moodoge, County Sligo, Ireland. It is one of eight post-AD 1700 markers defining the border between counties Sligo and Leitrim in inhospitable mountainous terrain. The pile sits at the east edge of the Truskmore plateau. It appears on the 1910 County Leitrim map but remains absent from the 1837 County Sligo map and both major archaeological inventories.

Not listed in either the SMR (1989) or RMP (1995). Not marked on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is one of a series of eight cairns (SL006-043----; SL006-044----; SL006-047----; SL006-048----; SL006-049----; SL006-050----; SL006-051----; SL006-063----) which mark the boundary between counties Sligo and Leitrim in inhospitable mountainous terrain. Located at the E edge of the Truskmore plateau. This modern-looking piles of stones is one of a series of boundary markers that define the border between counties Sligo and Leitrim. This is a post-AD 1700 feature. Note: This monument is not marked on the County Sligo OS 6-inch maps. It is marked 'Pile of stones' on the 1910 edition of the OS 6-inch map for County Leitrim (SL003-027----), unlike the remaining boundary markers between the counties which are are shown on the maps for both counties.
