What is recorded here

No archive records the exact moment the first stone left the ground, but the pile still stands at the junction of Corleckagh Upper, Moneenterriff, Cavan and Leitrim. It is the kind of place where people stopped arguing about ownership because the stones already answered. They may have rapped them, dropped butter on them or simply walked past with their hands in their pockets. The border became visible only because someone made it possible to touch.

Not marked on OS 1836 or 1876 eds. Situated on the border between the townlands of Corleckagh Upper and Moneenterriff (both in County Cavan) and between counties Cavan and Leitrim. A boundary cairn, likely dating to the Bronze Age. Its location suggests it may have marked a territorial division between ancient communities.
