What is recorded here

Situated on a slight rise in an undulating upland landscape. This is marked as a small hachured feature only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 14.5m N-S; 12m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m-0.8m). There is no visible fosse or entrance, but field stones have been added to the perimeter. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 September 2008

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
