Modern stones mark the boundary between Leitrim and Sligo on Truskmore Mountain. They sit at the edge of the summit plateau, where the land tilts away and the county line crosses open sky. The pile is small, but it gives the border a shape that can be touched.

Marked only on the 1909 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (Leitrim 003) where it is described as a ‘Pile of Stones’ on the county boundary with Sligo. It is located at the SE edge of the plateau on the summit of Truskmore Mountain. This is a modern pile of stones and is the same as (SL006-063----). A portal dolmen; likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. Its location on a prominent mountain summit suggests ritual or territorial significance.
