Pettico Wick Harbour is a coastal rock feature composed primarily of Silurian greywacke, formed around 440–420 million years ago through sedimentation and compression in an ancient marine environment. The area is notable for its rugged sea cliffs and resistant rock formations that have withstood extensive coastal erosion.
