On gentle SE-facing slope, in rough pasture, 320m NW of the Gortnageragh River. Depicted on the OS 25-inch map as a penannular-shaped enclosure (24m NE-SW; 17m NW-SE), which is open to NW. A spring is depicted 10m to NE and a well is also shown 33m to NE. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 11/03/2014.
