What is recorded here

Partially hachured is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilpatrick (corkaree By.), County Westmeath, Ireland. This sub-circular area, approximately twenty-five metres in diameter from east to west, is enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The bank and fosse have been steepened from south through north-northwest where the site perimeter forms part of a field fence, while the bank has been levelled from east-northeast to southeast. A field fence running east-northeast through west-southwest intersects the monument at the north.

Situated on well drained grassland. Ringfort (WM011-036---) 120m to NNW. Ringfort (WM011-065----) 155m to S. The townland boundary with Heathland is 85m to E. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam 25m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and shallow external fosse. The bank and fosse have been steepened from S-NNW where the perimeter of the site forms part of a field fence. From ENE-SE the bank has been levelled.
