Situated on well drained grassland. Ringfort (WM011-036---) 120m to NNW. Ringfort (WM011-065----) 155m to S. The townland boundary with Heathland is 85m to E. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam 25m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and shallow external fosse. The bank and fosse have been steepened from S-NNW where the perimeter of the site forms part of a field fence. From ENE-SE the bank has been levelled. A field fence running ENE-WSW intersects the monument at N.
