Partially hachured

In gentle undulating pasture on a slight S facing slope, with poor views in all directions, 74m N of townland boundary with Ballymartin, an enclosure (LI022-163----) lies 174m to SE. Surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. 11.5m) enclosed by scarp (Wth 2.1m; D 0.45m), the interior is level and clear of overgrowth. Field clearance material dumped at WSW-W-N forms a low bank, rubble also dumped at external face of scarp at NE. Relic stone wall field boundaries (H 0.4m) depicted on the OS historical maps visible at E-S-ESE and N-NE. Upstanding possible enclosure visible on the Google Earth orthoimage taken 2018. Uncertain antiquity may be just the remains of a small field depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map that was partially levelled.
