What is recorded here
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Paquette De Bilbao as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Paquette De Bilbao* was a 17th-century Spanish merchant vessel lost off the coast of Wales during a storm in 1630. It carried a cargo of wine and textiles, much of which was salvaged, though the ship was wrecked; no lives were reported lost. Its wreck is significant as a historical example of early modern maritime trade between Spain and Britain.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
