What is recorded here
Pallis Castle was a MacCarthy More stronghold above the Laune River valley, but human greed and road building broke it apart. Stones from the castle reappeared in Pallis Farm, Beaufort Bridge and Beaufort House, while the earth still holds a broad square scar where the tower stood. The castle did not disappear so much as scatter into Kerry itself.
Pallis Castle is recorded as a archaeological place in County Kerry. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
