Painswick Beacon is a prominent hill in the Cotswold Hills, rising to approximately 265 metres. It is composed mainly of limestone and sandstone, typical of the region's geology. The beacon has historical significance as a site for signal fires and offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside.
