Overton Cliff is a coastal sea cliff located near Swansea, formed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, approximately 300 to 360 million years old. The cliff was shaped by marine erosion and tectonic activity, and is notable for its exposure of sedimentary rock layers that provide insight into ancient marine environments.
