What is recorded here
Terraced six-bay four-storey former warehouse, built c. 1845, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof. Rubble stone and brick walls with segmental-arched openings to second and third floors. Openings altered to ground and first floors. Replacement timber shopfronts, uPVC windows, and timber casement windows.
This building forms part of an interesting group with the former industrial buildings in French Church Street and Carey's Lane. They contribute to the unique character of the narrow streets in this part of the city, due to the distinctive industrial form of the buildings and the materials utilised in their construction.
