Oliver Callan is an Irish satirist born in Inniskeen, County Monaghan, on 27 December 1980, who created Nob Nation and Callan's Kicks. He wrote nearly nine hundred sketches for the Gerry Ryan Show before launching his own radio programme, where he still parodies politicians and public figures. His work has drawn warnings, anger and widespread listening, but the origin remains a small farming town in Monaghan where a young man learned to listen, imitate and resist ordinary answers.
