What is recorded here

Three stones with fragments of ogham inscriptions were re-used as roofstones in Man-made underground passage 2 (ME005-104----). This sandstone piece (L 1.3m plus; dims 0.25m x 0.25m) was in the transverse passage and was probably shaped to provide stemlines for the inscription visible on two angles. The inscription has been read by Fionnbarr Moore as: MAQI…BIQ…on one angle, but the other angle could not be read because it was too tightly wedged in the roof.
